Work on the Big Rock Interchange (Interstates 430/630) will require multiple traffic restrictions on Sunday, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department officials announced in a Thursday news release.

The release states that road crews will require multiple lane closures and shifting, as well as a left-turn restriction from westbound I-630 to southbound Shackleford Road, while they re-stripe the roads and install barriers.

The lane closures will include I-630 in both directions, Financial Centre Parkway between Shackleford and Hermitage roads, and Shackleford Road near the Financial Centre Parkway.

The work is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Sunday. Upon completion, officials said new traffic patterns will remain in place through the summer months of 2013.
