I-530 lane in Pine Bluff to shut for repairs

By ArkansasOnline

This article was published February 15, 2013 at 9:41 a.m.

Crews making repairs on Interstate 530 will need to shut down a lane starting next week, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said Friday.

The repairs will be made on the outside, southbound lane from Exit 41 at Old Warren Road to Exit 42 at Hazel Street, department officials said. The work won’t interfere with the on-ramp of Old Warren Road, the department said, or the off-ramp at Hazel Street, which is the entrance to Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

The closure will start at 8 a.m. Tuesday and continue for two to three weeks, weather permitting. The work will go 24 hours a day, the department added.

Once the outside, southbound lane is finished, repair work will shift to the inside, southbound lane.
