Missouri had a chance to take the lead after Young gave Arkansas the lead, but Razorbacks forward Coty Clarke stole the ball from Missouri senior guard Phil Pressey with 10 seconds left.

Young connected on another free throw with 5.3 seconds left and contested a Jabari Brown 3-pointer that was no good at the buzzer. Arkansas (16-9, 7-5 SEC) improved to 14-1 this season in Bud Walton Arena and remained undefeated in six SEC games there.

Pressey, playing against his former coach and his father's former college roommate Mike Anderson, had hit a jumper to give the Tigers a 67-65 lead with 1 minute remaining. It was a rare bright moment for the preseason player of the year who struggled throughout, connecting on only 2 of 9 field goal attempts, finishing with nine points, two assists and four turnovers.

Missouri missed two free throws in the final 47 seconds to leave the door open for the Razorbacks. Young scored Arkansas' final seven points.

After trailing by as many as nine points in the first half and 33-29 at the intermission, the Razorbacks led by as many as eight points late in the second half.

Missouri chipped away at the lead and tied the game 63-63 on an Earnet Ross 3-pointer with 4:10 remaining. After a Keion Bell dunk, Arkansas tied the game on a Marshawn Powell layup with 1:17 to play.

Powell finished with a team-high 24 points for the Razorbacks. Coty Clarke had 13 points, including a career-high three made 3-pointers.

Bell led all scorers with 25 points for the Tigers (18-7, 7-5). Ross added 16.

The game was the first for Anderson against Missouri, who he coached for five years before leaving for Arkansas following the 2011 season. The two teams will meet again March 5 in Columbia, Mo.
