LITTLE ROCK Authorities have named a suspect in the case where a Little Rock man was tied up, assaulted and robbed early Monday morning by two men who broke into his residence in the city's Hillcrest neighborhood.
Little Rock Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Cassandra Davis said Robert Lee Holmes Jr., 21, is being sought in the investigation.
Davis described Holmes, who is still at large, as a black male, 5-foot-3 and 140 pounds.
The 26-year-old victim told investigators the incident happened about 3:15 a.m. at his residence in the 2500 block of Kavanaugh Blvd.
According to a Little Rock Police Department report, the victim awakened to find the two assailants standing over him. The men reportedly forced him into the shower, tied him up with a phone charger, punched him in the face and threatened to kill him. The victim said he heard the two attackers talking using "gang lingo" including the word "crips," the report said.
The two men left after taking a number of items including a computer, a flat-screen television, several firearms, cash and the victim's ATM cards.
Davis said investigators believe the robbers set out to burglarize the home and didn't know the victim was home.
This robbery comes a little more than two months after two other home-invasion robberies also in the Hillcrest area. In a Dec. 6 case at 3808 Oakwood Road, a group of robbers held the resident at gunpoint while taking a number of valuables from inside. Two days later, a woman at 301 N. Palm St. was forced into her house and robbed by three men.
Four men were charged in the Oakwood Road robbery and two have subsequently been released on bail. Davis said police do not believe there is a connection between the Oakwood incident and the latest case.
The robbers in the Monday incident are described as black men 17 to 20 years old. One was 5 foot 5 and 120 pounds with a blue hoodie and light jeans and his dreadlocks in a ponytail. The other is described as 5 foot 7 and 110 pound, wearing a white shirt, dark pants and a sweater vest.
The victim's injuries were described in the report as minor. No arrests have been made.

Fight back? I'd be too embarassed to admit two skinny punks beat and tied me up. That crime would have gone unreported. Must have been one of those "no LOADED guns in the house" kind of gun owners... The WORST place you want to corner a normal gun owner is in their bedroom.. A least one is always handy.

He should have used them guns to blow their heads off. Maggots of society. But wait, If only they had more educational opportunities and after school activities they would not be committing these crimes. Say our libtard buddies on here.

Hell, DemoRepub, they probably planned to "hit a lick" while playing basketball in a sponsered after school activity. It's their crappy culture that causes the bad schooling and leads to the anti-social behavior. A product of vote whores, no doubt. No respect for western civilization, only their own gang (tribal) culture.

inquire....I see that you stopped posting about how white people are committing crimes of robbery and acts of violence just as often as blacks!
It has become overwhelmingly obvious to even you now that the large majority of these type crimes ARE committed by blacks! When you read these crime reports be sure to read the description of the criminals! Your arguement that I'm a racist won't hold water. I am just a REALEST!

Little Rock is having a very distinctive and horrible crime wave which is not limited to bad neighborhoods. Yes, the criminals are black. However, to jump to the conclusion that this is going on all over America is just not accurate. Maryland is 30% black and this is not going on here. Certain neighborhoods in Baltimore, D.C. etc. have a little gang action going on, but black people are not going around holding up businesses and invading homes anywhere on the scale as is going on in Little Rock. Certain other areas in the country are experiencing crime from illegal immigrant drug cartels, but Little Rock seems to have a black crime wave occurring. First, the criminals need to be apprehended. Law enforcement needs to pull out all the stops to catch these people. Why aren't their pictures on the front page of the paper? If you have to put video cameras all over the streets of Hillcrest and other areas, it needs to be done. When these people are caught, the question needs to be asked, "Why is Little Rock in particular having such a horrendous crime wave?" It may not be just the bad schools. It may be a lack of criminal enforcement of the drug trade etc. Also, if social workers are not able to remove kids from troubled homes, these kids will turn into criminals just like their parents. When social workers and truancy officers are not doing their jobs, young people will grow up to be hoods. Of course, lack of community support for good schools and youth activities also will increase the crime rate. I also suspect that the racist sentiments often expressed in these comments are openly present in the streets of Little Rock. Bad racial relations will add fuel to the crime wave as well. If black people don't like white people, they are more likely to make them the victims of crimes. Although Maryland has a large black population, we do not have very much black on white crime. In fact, all the burglaries committed in my area are by illegal immigrants. Kids who are going to good schools and are looking forward to college are not likely to hold up the local 711.

An african american is about 35 times more likely to commit a crime of simple violence or robbery. A european american is about 125 times more likely to commit sociopathic (serial) killings.

Hey Populist - Don't you reckon BH Obama's constant playing of the class warfare card encourages this kind of behavior? The ultimate message in class warfare is some people have too much stuff and must be forced to re-distribute it through higher taxes. Isn't it logical that a culture that buys into this message would see the next logical step to take someone else's stuff by physical force instead of merely the force of government taxation? According to BH Obamam, rich folks are greedy and evil. In some cultures, taking rich folk's stuff by physical force is just doing something encouraged by BH's rhetoric.

Packman,
While one can argue that Rev. Al Sharpton and others play the race card, the Obamas just preach work hard if you want to succeed. The Obamas are great examples of the American work ethic.

Hey Populist - "The Obamas are great examples of the American work ethic." I don't care who you are, that right there is fuuunneee...... BH Obama has never held a real private sector job in his life. His entire adult life has been subsidized by others. How did he fund his elaborate education? How did he afford to travel abroad in his twenties? How did he live a lavish lifestyle as a "community organizer"? Did Tony Rezko give all his friends Obama-friendly deals? Where did he get the money to publish his books? Who paid his ghost writer? Michelle lands a hospital job worth $500,000 in salary and benefits after BH is elected by the vaunted Chicago political machine. Michelle's job is so important that when she leaves, nobody is hired to replace her. If you see living off the government teat and illicit money generated by political favors as admirable, BH and Michelle are your heros. If you admire hard work, sacrifice, and making it on your own, you like Paul Ryan or Marc Rubio. BH Obama preaches class warfare and income re-distribution. This is beyond dispute.

Packman,
You have no idea of the amount of hard work necessary to even get into Harvard Law School much less graduate from there as Editor-in-Chief of the Law School. If you have written a good book and are a celebrity, you do not have to pay somebody to publish it. I am sure that they had financial aid and scholarships to Harvard. It is not that expensive to bum around Europe. He either got the money from his grandparents or he earned it as a law clerk. Michele had a really good job which I believed paid about $350,000. I am sure that she got it in part because she was married to a state legislator, the hospital needed a minority in an executive spot, and she is very smart and talented. The world is full of white people in high paying jobs who are related to somebody important. The Rezko thing has been totally debunked. They paid market value for a piece of property from him once.
