Fort Smith man formally charged in aunt's death

FORT SMITH — Prosecutors have filed a first-degree murder charge against a Fort Smith man accused of killing his aunt.
Officials on Tuesday charged 19-year-old Dustin Trowbridge in the death of 25-year-old Rita Jackalynne Anderson, who was shot dead in her living room Feb. 13.
The Southwest Times Record reported that Trowbridge is accused of stealing the aunt’s boyfriend’s vehicle after the shooting.
