LR man to lead committee to help lawyers, judges

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Supreme Court says a Little Rock man will lead a committee that helps members of the legal profession affected by mental health or substance abuse problems.
The state’s top court said Thursday that Michael Moore has been appointed to serve as chairman of the Arkansas Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program Committee.
Moore of Little Rock was appointed to a six-year term starting Feb. 28 and ending Feb. 28, 2019.
Moore replaces Thomas Barron of Little Rock.
