Simmons First Bank in Heights robbed

At 1:15 p.m., the Simmons First Bank in The Heights was robbed by a white male who got away with an unknown amount of cash.
LITTLE ROCK An unidentified man got away with an unknown amount of cash in Friday afternoon bank robbery in the Heights.
According to Little Rock Police Department spokesperson Michelle Howard, a white male entered the Simmons First Bank at 1818 N. Taylor St. around 1:15 p.m. Friday and demanded money.
The suspect told bank employees he had a gun in his pocket, but did not reveal one during the robbery. He fled the bank on foot.
No one was hurt in the robbery. Authorities have not made any arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
