Arkansas woman killed in wreck near Manila

— A Manilla woman was killed Sunday morning in a wreck on Arkansas 77, according to Arkansas State Police.

Police say Tasha Annette Holder, 43, was south of Manila, in the northbound lane when her 2000 Ford Ranger left the highway and struck a utility pole, ejecting her from the overturned vehicle. Holder was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police report states weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident. Police say the accident occurred around 8:40 a.m. Sunday.

According to preliminary figures, this is the 60th fatality on Arkansas roads this year.
