Man held in Benton rape case

Police in Benton say they have arrested a man on accusations he sexually assaulted a minor over four years.
William Kepper, 25, is facing a charge of rape, a Class Y felony. Class Y felonies carry prison terms from 10 years to life imprisonment.
Benton Police Department spokesman Lt. Kevin W. Russell said in a statement that the crime was reported in October. Kepper was taken into custody Thursday at his residence in Louisiana.
Kepper is being held in the Saline County jail without bail pending a bond hearing.
