— Nuptial vows were exchanged by Jessica Faith Berry and Dr. Justin Johnson Conway at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in Loretto Chapel, Santa Fe, N.M. Bill Lambert, grandfather of the bride, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Joanna and Ken Berry, 53 Aberdeen Drive. Her grandparents are Drs. Helen and Bill Lambert of Searcy and Lavonne and Jerry Berry of Conway.

Parents of the groom are Amy and Bill Conway of Santa Fe. His grandparents are Mary and William Conway of Cleveland and the late Harriet Ann and Donald Johnson of Santa Monica, Calif.

The candlelight ceremony was decorated with arrangements of white hydrangeas. Music was by a string quartet.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of French lace with a halter-style bodice and carried white orchids and hydrangeas.

Kensey Berry of Philadelphia served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Caitlin O’Neil, Whitney Hermandorpher and Ali Kelley, all of Washington; Irene Chen of Boston; Julia Berger of Geneva; Halsey Ward of Auckland, New Zealand; and Willa Conway of New Orleans.

They wore black knee-length silk dresses and jewelry designed by the groom’s mother. They carried white hydrangea bouquets.

Camille Bischoff of Gallup, N.M., was a flower girl.

Serving as best man was Galen Wilson of Oakland, Calif. Groomsmen were Dr. Kevin Duan of San Francisco; Dr. David Rosen of Los Angeles; Dr. Robert Love of Burlington, Vt.; Pat Ekeruo and Derek Pollak, both of New York; Jonah Perlin of Washington; and Freddy Flaxman of Atlanta.

A reception at The Inn and Spa at Loretto followed the ceremony. Tables, covered with black velvet table runners, were centered with white peonies, hydrangeas and orchids draped from Manzanita trees and branches.

The bride graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English from Princeton University, Princeton, N.J., where she played on the varsity basketball team. She has a master’s degree in English education from Columbia University, New York, and was a member of Teach for America Corps. She is an honors English language arts teacher at Bronx Lighthouse College Preparatory Academy, New York.

The groom graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Princeton, where he was captain of the varsity basketball team. He received a medical degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He is a first-year resident at Beth Israel Hospital, New York.

After a wedding trip to Casco Viejo, Panama, the couple will make their home in New York.
