ARKADELPHIA A court date has been rescheduled for a suspect in the slayings of two young Arkansas girls and their stepfather.
Trial court assistant Lanna Clark said Monday that Riakos Lizana’s arraignment has been pushed back to Jan. 15. Lizana was previously scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
Authorities arrested Lizana in December in connection with the deaths of 4-year-old Marley Crutchfield, 6-year-old Adiele Crutchfield and the girls’ stepfather, 40-year-old Bobby Jean Galbraith.
Police say a baby was also found unharmed at an Arkadelphia home where the bodies of the girls and stepfather were found.
Jailer Alvin Johnson says Lizana is being held at the Clark County jail without bail on three capital-murder charges.
No one at the local public defender’s office responded to a phone message left Monday.
