New recycling calendars available for LR, NLR, Sherwood

Residents of Little Rock, North Little Rock and Sherwood shouldn’t see any changes to their curbside-recycling schedules this year, and new calendars with the cities' recycling schedules are available, city officials said Tuesday.

Launched last April, the fortnightly residential recycling program is used by 90,000 households, the cities said, deeming the participation rate successful. Collections will continue every two weeks, continuing last year’s schedules.

Residents may obtain printable PDF versions of the schedules and collection maps by visiting regionalrecycling.org.

Residents of each city may also find the schedules at their respective city websites: www.littlerock.org; northlittlerock.org; or cityofsherwood.net.

Alternately, calendars may requested by e-mail or mail by calling Waste Management at (501) 565-0191; Little Rock residents may also call 311.

Alternately, calendar requests may be e-mailed to gwheatley@wm.com, officials said.
