AHTD to hold public meeting in Hot Springs on Arkansas 7 plans

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will hold a public meeting Tuesday in Hot Springs to discuss improvement plans for Arkansas 7 (Scenic 7 Byway), the department announced Wednesday.
The meeting will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lake Hamilton Baptist Church, 5963 Central Avenue, in the Fellowship Hall.
According to the news release, officials will present plans for widening a 1 1/2-mile stretch of Arkansas 7 to include five traffic lanes, as well as sidewalks and bike lanes, in the Lake Hamilton area. During the scheduled meeting hours, participants will be able to view displays, ask questions and provide input on the department's plans.
