100 YEARS AGO Jan. 9, 1913 MEMPHIS — Acting on a report by Dr. J. C. Bell, secretary of the Board of Health, the quarantine against Marion, Ark., was lifted Wednesday by Dr. M. Goltman, superintendent. Dr. Bell investigated conditions at Marion and said that he had found one fatality there from meningitis. No new cases had developed.
