Chief: 2 dead in shooting at Greenland apartments

GREENLAND — Authorities in Washington County say two people are dead and another is wounded after a shooting at an apartment complex.
Greenland Police Chief Gary Ricker says the shooting happened Thursday night at an apartment complex on U.S. 71.
Ricker told Fayetteville television station KHOG that authorities have a suspect in custody.
Authorities were called to the complex Thursday night to respond to a domestic disturbance. Police say that one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim died at the hospital overnight.
Investigators are still processing the crime scene and interviewing neighbors and relatives.
The victims’ names have not yet been released.
