Man shot to death Calico Rock; 2 questioned

CALICO ROCK — Authorities are investigating after a 30-year-old man was shot to death near Calico Rock.
Sheriff Tate Lawrence said Josh Loosey was found dead Thursday night in a wooded area.
Lawrence told the Batesville Daily Guard that authorities have detained a man and a woman in the fatal shooting, though no one has been charged.
Loosey’s body will be sent to the Arkansas Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.
The sheriff says the shooting may have been a result of a land dispute. He said officers have recovered two weapons and that the investigation continues.
