CLARKRIDGE The Baxter County sheriff's office said it retrieved a body from Norfork Lake on Saturday morning.
Authorities said deputies responded to a call around 11:24 a.m. that a witness saw a vehicle in 10 to 12 feet of water at a dock in the Calamity Beach boat launch area.
A diver from the sheriff's office checked the vehicle and found a man inside, according to authorities.
The vehicle and body were both retrieved by police. Authorities said the vehicle is registered to a reported missing person since October.
The police report states the body is being sent to the State Medical Examiner's office in Little Rock to be identified and determine the cause of death.

"(T)he vehicle is registered to a reported missing person since October." Bad reporting: Does this refer to the VEHICLE, or (as I suspect) the PERSON? In other words, does this mean (a) the vehicle has been registered in the missing person's name since October (not very relevant), or (b) the vehicle is registered to a person who was reported missing in October (very much relevant, and more likely)?

Hmmm, which is more irrelevant, RBBrittain's comment or RBBrittain?
