Oaklawn cancels weekend racing

HOT SPRINGS — Oaklawn officials said racing scheduled for Saturday and Sunday has been cancelled.
Heavy rain and unsafe track conditions caused the racing cancellation, according to an official at Oaklawn Racing and Gaming.
Racing will return to Oaklawn on Thursday, Jan. 17. Friday was opening day for live racing at Oaklawn in Hot Springs.
