— Katherine Bry Church and Jack Mac-Gregor Campbell were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, in St. James Methodist Church in Hope Town, Bahamas. Pastor Vernon Malone officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Drs. Kathy Lynn Henderson and Lloyd Frederick Church, 1714 N. Spruce St. She is the granddaughter of Robert Henderson of Dallas; the late Burtis Henderson of Houston; and the late Nell and Lloyd Church of Monroe, La.

The groom is the son of Martha and Gene Chapman Campbell of Harrison. His grandparents are the late Doris Magness Farris and the late Jack Sherman Farris, both of Little Rock, and the late Dorothy Jo Campbell and the late John Roy Campbell, both also of Harrison.

The chancel was decorated with cylinders of white hydrangeas and the altar held large glass vases of white calla lilies and hydrangeas. Music was by violinist Jennifer Hudson.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory A-line ball gown of silk shantung taffeta with an off-the-shoulder lace Empire bodice. She carried an all-white bouquet of peonies and cymbidium orchids.

Serving as the bride’s honor attendants were Sutton Leskosky of Amarillo, Texas, and Rebecca Hedges of Westminster, Colo. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Stroud of Washington and Blythe O’Brien of New York. They wore navy silk taffeta dresses with chiffon sashes and carried bouquets of coral peonies.

Steve Glaze of Washington was best man. Groomsmen were Robert Holifield and Drew Goesl, both also of Washington, and Daniel Church of Sewanee, Tenn., brother of the bride.

Ring bearer was Ethan Glaze of Washington.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Hope Town Harbour Lodge. Guest tables were covered with navy linens and decorated with square glass vases filled with white hydrangeas and white cymbidium orchids. Music was by the New Entry Band.

The bride graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College at the University of Georgia at Athens with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and international affairs. She was a member of Chi Omega. She is a student at the University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma and received a juris doctorate from the UA School of Law. He also received a master of laws degree in taxation from Georgetown University Law School in Washington. He is employed by the Executive Office of the President of the United States and serves as the assistant U.S. trade representative for congressional affairs.

After a honeymoon in the Cayman Islands, the couple will split their time between Washington and Fayetteville.
