Lane closures on I-40 in Lonoke for bridge maintenance

LITTLE ROCK — Bridge maintenance on Interstate 40 will mean lane closures in Lonoke this week.
According to a release from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, the work happen around the Kerr Road exit in Lonoke County. This will require the westbound, outside lane of the interstate to be closed on Thursday and Friday.
The closure will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to use caution when driving in the area.
