LITTLE ROCK — BASKETBALL Richardson to speak at Tip-Off Club
Former Arkansas men’s basketball coach Nolan Richardson will be the guest speaker at the Downtown Tip-Off Club.
Lunch will be served at 11:15 a.m. at the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce with the program beginning at noon.
The cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
BOWLING ASU finishes third
The Arkansas State women’s bowling team finished third in the Mid-Winter Invitational after winning all three matches on Sunday in Jonesboro.
The Red Wolves entered bracket play as the No. 6 seed and beat No. 5 seed Stephen F. Austin 4-0, No. 4 seed Wisconsin-Whitewater 4-1 and No. 3 Vanderbilt 4-1. The Red Wolves (35-15) beat Vanderbilt 223-190, 236-157, 217-215, 186-191, 195-140.
