Beebe reappoints Hood to Workers Compensation Commission

LITTLE ROCK Gov. Mike Beebe has reappointed Philip Alan Hood to the state Worker’s Compensation Commission.
Beebe on Friday returned Hood to the panel for a six-year term as the labor representative.
The three-member commission administers the state’s workers’ compensation laws for employees, employers, medical providers and other stakeholders.
Hood is an executive board member of the Arkansas AFL-CIO.
The committee chairman is A. Watson Bell and the third member is Karen McKinney.
