— The Arkansas Arts Center was the setting at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, for the marriage of Katherine Heath Rice and Konstantin Ilkov Dimitrov. Sharon Priest officiated.

Elizabeth and Ted Alden Rice Jr., 2701 N. University Ave., are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Betty and the late Dr. James Gilmore Stuckey, Joyce and James Raine Laney, and the late Ted Alden Rice, all of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Dr. Valentina Kirilova Todorova of Little Rock and Ilko Dimitrov of Sofia, Bulgaria. His grandparents are the late Tinka and Kiril Todorovi and the late Roza and Dimitar Dimitrovi, all also of Sofia.

Large birch trees with hanging candles and lights lined the walls of the Arts Center. Wooden boxes filled with cream garden roses and white hydrangeas lined the aisle. Music was by guitarist Michael Carenbauer. Corey Villines Brooks was a reader and Cindy Hodges Burns gave a wedding prayer.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless ivory silk-taffeta gown by Watters and Watters with a full skirt embellished with hand-sewn flowers and beaded embroidery. She also wore a pearl headpiece in her hair that her mother wore on her wedding day.

The bride’s bouquet was filled with cream garden roses and wrapped in a handkerchief made from her grandmother’s and mother’s wedding dress.

Stevie Wood Campbell of Oxford, Miss., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Hollie Bowe Rice Wolfe, aunt of the bride, and Kate Redden East,both of Little Rock, and Margaret Rose Goodloe of Portland, Ore. They wore strapless Empire dresses of periwinkle bobinette and carried bouquets of cream garden roses.

Junior bridesmaid was Fisher Heart Wolfe of Little Rock, cousin of the bride. Ring bearers were Spartagus Love Wolfe and Sheriff Valentine Wolfe, also of Little Rock and cousins of the bride.

Best man was Oscar Leonardo Hurtado of North Little Rock. Groomsmen were Andrew Robinson Rice, brother of the bride, and Guy William Bell, both of Little Rock; and Joshua William Davis of Largo, Fla. Guests were seated by Nicolas Benjamin Ali David of Paris and Ronald John Martino Jr., and James Wilson McBryde, both of Little Rock.

Guest tables at a reception in the Arts Center were centered with glass vases filled with birch tree logs and topped with cream roses and white hydrangeas. Music was by John Michael Vance and the Delta Funk.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in marketing management and retail marketing from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She is an account director at Exit Marketing.

The groom has bachelor’s degrees in finance, international business, accounting and French from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is a certified public accountant and a senior financial analyst at Frost, PLLC.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock and plan a June wedding trip to Bulgaria and Turkey.
