LITTLE ROCK — A Little Rock man is dead after being shot Saturday night.
The Lonoke County sheriff's office responded to a report of a man laying on the side of Bevis Road around 10 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies found Hurbert Dewayne Jackson, 27, who had been shot and left on the side of the road.
The sheriff's office has not released any other information at this time. Anyone with information on the investigation is asked to contact the Lonoke County sheriff's office at 501-676-3000.
