A year-long drug investigation in White County has yielded 22 warrants issued for arrest in connection with the case.
According to a news release from the White County sheriff's office, the warrants were issued for charges of delivery of a controlled substance, particularly methamphetamine, less than two grams. In all, the investigation began as an undercover operation by the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force last February.
Of the 22, 14 are currently being held in custody on bonds that range from $10,000 to $40,000. Eight with warrants have yet to be arrested. All arrested in the case are set to go before the White County Circuit Court on March 4 at 9 a.m.
The White County sheriff's office coordinated the investigation with the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force, Arkansas Department of Community Corrections and police departments from Bald Knob, Judsonia and Bradford.
