Rep. Griffin opens Conway office, trims Little Rock presence

U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin announced Wednesday a reorganization of his district operations, including the opening of a second office in Conway.

“In order to serve my constituents better, I’m opening an office in Conway. We are expanding access — with no additional cost to taxpayers — by adding a Conway office and shedding excess office space in Little Rock,” the 2nd District congressman said in a statement.

Griffin said he has shuffled his staff so that each office will have a military and veterans caseworker.

In addition, he said, he has added the position of a federal grants coordinator to help local organizations and communities in the district navigate the federal grant process.

Griffin and the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce will host a grand opening and open house from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 31 at the new Conway office, 1105 Deer St., Suite 12.
