Lynnette Watts, the chief executive officer of the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas, will discuss an update to the 1973 report by the Arkansas Commission on Status of Women in a Monday lecture.

The original 1973 report was edited by the late Diane Blair of Fayetteville, who was chair of the commission. The 2013 report is the first update since then.

University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service students, faculty and staff were among those working with the Women’s Foundation on the update. The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas is a nonprofit organization aimed at helping women and girls achieve their full potential through philanthropy and education.

Watts’ lecture will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the Clinton School’s Sturgis Hall, the former Choctaw Railway Station building on the Clinton Presidential Center grounds, 1200 President Clinton Ave. in Little Rock.

Those attending can take along their own lunches; drinks will be provided.

Seats can be reserved by e-mailing publicprograms@clintonschool.uasys.edu or by calling (501) 683-5239.
