LITTLE ROCK A meeting is scheduled next month on a proposal to convert 8th Street in part of downtown Little Rock into a two-way road.
The meeting is scheduled from 4-5:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Metroplan office across from City Hall, 501 W. Markham St.
The preliminary plan would shift 8th Street between Broadway and Chester streets into a two-way street with turn lanes at both ends. Eighth Street is currently one-way westbound.
Officials from the Public Works Civil Engineering Division and the Traffic Engineering Division will present the plans and seek input at the meeting.
