— Four defendants from Texarkana charged in a 2011 drug-trafficking investigation were sentenced to a combined 377 months in prison, U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge said Friday.

Eldridge said Operation Stateline Sweep resulted in a 190-count indictment filed in September 2011, which named 66 defendants. Three of the defendants sentenced this week were named in the indictment.

"The prosecution of criminal investigations that involve a large number of defendants takes time and perseverance," Eldridge said. "We will continue to make progress on the charges brought as a result of Operation Stateline Sweep until every defendant is brought to justice."

Ulysses McClinton, 33, was sentenced to 57 months in prison Tuesday and three years of supervised release. McClinton pleaded guilty to distributing 27 grams of crack cocaine Sept. 18.

Donte Williams, 43, was sentenced to 140 months in prison Wednesday and three years supervised release. Williams pleaded guilty to distribution of crack cocaine and use and carry of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.

Emmanuel Baker, 22, was sentenced to 60 months in prison Wednesday and three years supervised release. Baker pleaded guilty to using and carrying a firearm during, and in relation to, a drug trafficking crime.

Anthony Morine, 43, was sentenced to 120 months in prison Wednesday and eight years supervised release. Morine pleaded guilty to distributing more than 28 grams of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a public housing authority facility.

All defendants were sentenced with no possibility of parole.
