Two arrested on drug charges in Cabot

CABOT Two people were arrested on methamphetamine charges Thursday afternoon in Cabot.
Lonoke County sheriff deputies pulled over a vehicle operated by 38-year-old Toby Lee Fitzhugh, of Cabot, for a traffic violation about 4:43 p.m. Thursday. Karen Renee Nichols, 38, also of Cabot, was identified as a passenger.
Deputies found 1 1/2 grams of meth and drug-related paraphernalia after further investigation.
The police report states Fitzhugh and Nichols were arrested for the offenses of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This is wrong. These two people ween't harming anyone else. This was a victimless crime. Must have been a slow day for the Cabot PD.
