— Sara Elizabeth Harrod and Kyle Richard Rogers were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, in Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. The Rev. Russ Snapp officiated.

Parents of the bride are Shawna and Jeff Harrod of Malvern. Her grandparents are Martha and Don McCormack of Perryville and the late Norma and Paul Harrod of Dermott.

Janice and Rick Rogers, 16 Summerland Court, are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Dorothy and the late Don Rogers and the late Marion and W.M. Ballard, all of Little Rock.

The chancel was decorated with arrangements of white roses. Music was by organist Tom Lee. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory fit-and-flare gown of beaded lace and organza. She carried a clutch bouquet of red roses.

Matron of honor was Megan Clinton of Russellville. Bridesmaids were Myka Tabor of Little Rock, sister of the groom; Mindy Wingo of Malvern; and Lauren Willis of Cerrogordo. They wore apple red gowns of chiffon with beaded sweetheart necklines.

The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Joey Nottingham, A.J. Reynolds and Michael Rogers, all of Little Rock.

Guests were seated by Heath Harrod of North Little Rock and Kyle Harrod of Malvern, brothers of the bride; and Michael Seaman and Keith McGeorge, both of Little Rock.

At a reception at Pleasant Valley Country Club, tables covered with ivory and black linens were centered with blooming branches that had hanging votive candles and crystals surrounded by bundles of red roses.

The bride graduated from Arkansas Tech University at Russellville with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She received a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a pharmacist with the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.

The groom is a senior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock majoring in criminal justice and plans to finish a degree in culinary arts at Pulaski Technical College next fall. He is employed as a chef at Your Mama’s Good Food.

After a wedding trip to Great Exuma, Bahamas, the couple will live in Little Rock.
