Fire at Little Rock house extinguished

Crews have extinguished a fire that damaged a house in Little Rock.

The Little Rock Fire Department was called to 3409 Walker St. about 9 a.m. in reference to a blaze inside the home.

There was no word on what started the fire, though an investigator was on scene shortly before 10 a.m. examining the damage. None was visible to the exterior of the single-story home.

One man in the house was reported to have suffered a small burn injury. Medics examined him at the scene. He was not taken to the hospital.

Capt. Randy Hickmon said a monetary estimate on the damage to the home wasn't yet available.
