LITTLE ROCK — Authorities are investigating after a man was reportedly shot by a hitchhiker in Little Rock.
Police say a 22-year-old man picked up a stranger late Saturday and gave him a ride to a convenience store.
Little Rock television station KTHV reported that police say the hitchhiker then pulled a gun and demanded money from the driver.
A police report says the driver was shot in the chest and arm, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
Authorities say surveillance video shows the hitchhiker running away after the shooting. Police say they’re still searching for the man, who faces charges of aggravated robbery and first-degree battery if apprehended.
