— Crews will install an overhead sign on U.S. 70 in Hot Springs on Thursday night into Friday morning, according to a news release from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.

Officials said the project will begin at 11 p.m. Thursday and should be completed by 5 a.m Friday, weather permitting. The Highway Department said traffic in the eastbound lanes of the highway may be stopped for intervals up to 10 minutes.

The release states the sign will span the eastbound lanes of the highway just before the Spring Street and the U.S. 70B overpasses. The Highway Department said Spring Street and U.S. 70B won't be affected by the work.

Officials ask drivers to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
