Club owner to be sentenced in money laundering

Helena-West Helena club owner Wayne Webb, who pleaded guilty in August to money-laundering, is scheduled to be sentenced in federal court in Little Rock today.

Webb faces four years’ probation and a $4,000 fine if U.S. District Judge D. Price Marshall Jr. accepts a plea agreement. Webb has admitted to earning about $90,000 from illegal gambling in his Queen of Clubs bar and restaurant.
