BLYTHEVILLE — Blytheville police say they're continuing to investigate the killing of a 26-year-old man over the weekend.

Capt. Scott Adams says 26-year-old Charles Daniel Goodwin was found dead at a friend's home Sunday evening. Adams says officers looked through the home's window and saw Goodwin lying in a bedroom.

Adams says officers forced their way into the home and found Goodwin with "injuries consistent with a homicide."

No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is asked to call Blytheville police.

The Courier-News reports that Goodwin was a 2005 graduate of Blytheville High School. He represented the Blytheville Chickasaws at the 2005 high school all-star football game.
