Nuptial vows were exchanged by Jillian Rebecca Jones and Anton Leo Janik Jr. recently at the Old State House Museum. Thomas Nichols officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Rebecca and Jack Jones of Bryant. Her grandparents are Clara and Mason Brown and the late Lettie Jane Brown, all of Stuttgart, and the late Lena Davis of Jacksonville.

The groom is the son of Diane Johnson of Needham, Mass., and Anton Janik of Scottsdale, Ariz. He is the grandson of the late Louise and Herman Groya of St. Charles, Ill., and the late Helen and Anton Janik of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Vows were exchanged on the museum’s front steps, which held a grapevine arch decorated with blue and white hydrangeas, yellow Asiatic lilies, white roses and stock. Music was by a Southern gospel quartet with solos by Karen Ware and Gerald Browning.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a slim-fitting gown of Venice lace that extended to a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus, dusty miller and cotton bolls.

Matron of honor was Christi Quarles Smith of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Ashley Dodd of Springdale; Nicole Chapman of Fayetteville; Christa Rowland of Little Rock; and Lacey Nunnally of Maumelle. They wore halter-style silk-chiffon dresses in daffodil yellow and carried clutch bouquets of blue and white hydrangeas, roses, dusty miller and cotton bolls.

Flower girls were Piper and Sadie Chaisson of New Canaan, Conn., and Marin and Teagan Whitington of Denver, all nieces of the groom; and Mila Dodd of Springdale.

Dustin Smith of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Dodd of Springdale; Chance Chapman of Fayetteville; and Jonathan Kelley of Russellville. Junior groomsmen were Kazius and Lance Janik of Arlington, Va., sons of the groom.

Guests were seated by Adam Dardenne of Dermott and Jon Dardenne of Crawfordsville, cousins of the bride; and Stephane Lecointe of Little Rock.

A reception on the museum’s lawn followed the ceremony. Guest tables were covered with white linens and topped with Federal blue shantung runners. They were centered with wedding flowers in mercury glass and white porcelain bowls accented with fresh lemons. The buffet featured a trumpet-style vase filled with fresh lemons and accented with curly willow, cotton stalks and a collar of flowers. Music was by Tragikly White.

The bride graduated cum laude from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia with a bachelor’s degree in English. She received a juris doctorate from the the University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville. She is an associate at Walker Law Firm PLLC.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in Russian from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt., a juris doctorate from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver and a master’s of laws in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington. He is a partner at Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard P.L.L.C.

After a wedding trip to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Little Rock.
