Man arrested at Clinton National Airport after gun found in bag

A potential airline passenger was taken into custody Monday morning at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport after a handgun was found in his carry-on bag.

A security official discovered the loaded 9mm handgun in a male traveler's bag about 8:15 a.m., according to a statement from airport officials. The man, who was only described as an Arkansas resident, was flying from Little Rock to Denver.

It wasn't immediately clear why the man had the gun in his bag.
