BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — NBC says it's planning a four-hour miniseries about Hillary Clinton.

The project, titled "Hillary," will star Diane Lane, the network announced Saturday at a session of the Television Critics Association. The role of former President Bill Clinton has yet to be cast, NBC said.

The miniseries will recount the life and career of the former first lady and secretary of state from 1998 to the present.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt said the air date has yet to be determined. But he said it would likely air before Clinton might declare her candidacy for the Democratic nomination for president.

Hillary Clinton has not said whether she will run in the 2016 presidential election.
