Chenal Valley Church of Christ was the setting at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, July 20, for the marriage of Chelsea LouAnne Otwell and Anthony Michael Saegert. Craig Frost with Clarksville Church of Christ officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Cheryl and Eddy Otwell of Maumelle. Her grandparents are Wanda and Carl Otwell of Alexander, Ann and Van Turbyfill of Lonsdale and Joan and David Pruitt of Salem.

Gayla and Michael Saegert of Siloam Springs are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Sandy Hughes of Siloam Springs and the late Jimmy Hughes, and Dotty and Robert Saegert, also of Siloam Springs.

The altar held an antique chapel window, candles and towering cylinder arrangements of blush garden roses, white hydrangeas, snapdragons, stock, baby’s breath, seeded eucalyptus and curly willow. The bride’s uncle, Mark Pruitt of Lacey, Wash., led a special family prayer.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fitted gown with sweetheart bodice embellished with corded lace and crystals and voluminous tulle skirt. She carried blush and ivory roses, blush ranunculus, baby’s breath, stock, succulents, dusty miller and an antique brooch.

Hope Otwell of Maumelle served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessalyn Otwell of Bryant; Ashley Vaughan of Alma and Karye Saegert of Springdale,sisters of the groom; Lindsay Drennan of Paron; Meredith Brown of Fort Smith; and Rachael Gonzales of Bryant.

They wore short dresses of blush chiffon in the style of their choice and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas, blush roses, carnations, baby’s breath and seeded eucalyptus.

Emilee and Katie Wright of Avilla were flower girls, and ring bearer was Collin Wright, also of Avilla.

Best man was Coleson Rakestraw of Oklahoma City. Groomsmen were Luke Otwell of Bryant and Zac Otwell of Maumelle, brothers of the bride; Jay Vaughan of Alma; Hall Frost of Clarksville; Nathan Wilhelm of Euless, Texas; and Austin Zivney of Searcy.

A reception at Loft 1023 followed the ceremony. Guest tables held a mix of lanterns with hydrangeas, roses, stock and seeded eucalyptus.

The bride graduated from Harding University in Searcy with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She was on the dean’s list and was a member of Kappa Delta Pi. She will be pursuing her master of education degree in reading at Harding.

The groom graduated from Harding with a bachelor’s degree in French with licensure. He is a French teacher at Siloam Springs High School.

The couple will live in Siloam Springs after a honeymoon in Destin, Fla.
