Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. has reached a deal to purchase eight Allbritton television stations, including KATV-TV, Channel 7 in Little Rock, for $985 million.
The purchase includes seven ABC Network affiliates and NewsChannel 8, a news network covering the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
Allbritton announced in May that it planned to sell its television stations.
