Two held in Bryant armed robbery

Bryant police say they have arrested two suspects in the armed robbery of a gas station last week.

Keifer Collins, 18, and a 17-year-old whose name wasn't released are each being held on charges of aggravated robbery, theft of property and tampering with physical evidence.

The two are accused of the May 31 robbery of the Kum & Go on Reynolds Road. Police said then that two men wearing masks went into the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash. They got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Collins was arrested Thursday. It wasn't immediately clear when the 17-year-old was arrested.

Police said the juvenile would be tried as an adult because of the "seriousness of the crime," though police did not provide his name in a news release.
