“Get a Simple Landscape,” a collection of drawings by Little Rock artist Jerry Phillips, goes on display Friday at the Central Arkansas Library System’s Butler Center Galleries, Arkansas Studies Institute building, 401 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. The opening is part of 2nd Friday Art Night, 5-8 p.m. The exhibition will remain up through Sept. 29. Admission to the opening and to the galleries is free. Call (501) 918-3086.

‘Dirt Road Diaries’
