Christine Marie Marks and William Tyler Brett were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in Fayetteville Town Center. Phillip Marks, brother of the bride, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy Marks and Dr. Stephen Marks, both of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Ann and the late Virgil Waner Marks of Little Rock and the late Marilyn and William Hastings of North Little Rock.
The groom is the son of Allison Luchsinger of Cabot and the grandson of Lou and the late William Brett of Little Rock.
Large Boston ferns decorated the ceremony site.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a silk organza strapless gown from Watters andWatters with a draped bodice and a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of freesia, irises, calla lilies and blue delphinium.
Laura Marks Kahle of Little Rock was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katy Camp, Katie Calicott and Lauren Ritchie, all of Little Rock; Meg Pursley of Washington; and Bridgette Spoljaric of Spring Hill, Fla. They wore strapless knee-length dresses of Casablanca-blue cotton-taffeta and carried bouquets of blue hydrangeas and delphinium, white gerbera daisies and yellow craspedia.
Serving as best man was David Isom of Conway. Groomsmen were Mario Selva, Jared Lowrey, Christopher Decker and Matthew Dozier, all Fayetteville; and Christopher Chandler and Brandon Chandler,both of Alexander.
Ring bearers were William Marks, Charles Marks and Conley Marks of Little Rock, nephews of the bride.
Guest tables at a reception in the center held garden arrangements of blue hydrangeas, white lilies and yellow solidago. Music was by Boom Kinetic.
The bride is a cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a labor and delivery nurse at Willow Creek Women’s Hospital.
The groom, also a UA graduate, has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He is lead event specialist at Crossmark.
After a honeymoon in Mexico, the couple will live in Fayetteville.
