Nuptial vows were exchanged by Suzanne Leigh Biddy and John Bradley Howard at 6 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Lafayette Square in Savannah, Ga.

Parents of the bride are Suzanne Lynn Harrison of Maumelle and Pat Morris of Wrightsville, Ga. Her grandparents are Dr. Nan Jo Coleman, the late Martin Leonard Coleman, the late James Carter Summerlin, the late Ruth Biddy Coffee and the late Pat Morris Biddy.

Lynette and Dr. Walter Gene Howard, 24 St. Andrews Drive, are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Erma and the late Harold Wright and the late Truie and Bill Howard.

The square, centered with an antique fountain, was decorated with arrangements of peonies, tulips and hydrangeas. Readers were Heather Owens, Mary Bogie and Mary Margaret Faulkner, all of Little Rock.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless satin ball gown with fitted bodice and full skirt. Her bouquet was filled withpeonies, lilies and tulips.

The bride’s honor attendants were Laura Biddy Frith, sister of the bride, and Kristin Michelle Slayden, both of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Jo Margaret Bennett, sister of the bride, and Katie Fortenberry Peek, both also of Little Rock. Their peach one-shoulder chiffon gowns were floor-length and they carried bouquets of peach and ivory peonies, tulips and roses.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Cate Bennett and Gage Bennett of Little Rock, niece and nephew of the bride.

Gene Walter Howard Jr., of Little Rock served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were John Porter and Clay Belknap, both of Little Rock; and Jay Hickman of Springfield, Mo. Guests were seated by Trey Biddy of Fayetteville, brother of the bride; Logan Farmer and Nathan Farmer of Memphis; Jake Howard and Tatum Howard of Little Rock; and Max Truby and Victor Truby of Kansas City, Mo.

A reception at the Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah followed the ceremony. Tables covered in white linens were centered with mercury-glass votive candles and peach and ivory-colored arrangements of garden roses and peonies. Rice girls were Annabelle Biddy of Fayetteville and Margaret Suzanne Frith of Little Rock, nieces of the bride; and Zoe Grace Truby of Kansas City.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a speech language pathologist and director of rehabilitation at West Markham Subacute & Rehabilitation.

The groom has bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting from the university. He is a certified public accountant.

After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in Little Rock.
