TULSA — Police in Tulsa have recovered Arkansas-registered custom Cadillac stolen in a robbery, but why the victim's pants were also taken remains a mystery.
Authorities say the car was recovered early Sunday on the Broken Arrow Expressway, where it appears to have run out of gas.
Oklahoma City television station KWTV reported that a man and a woman were held up at a convenience store by two men armed with revolvers.
Police say the robbers ordered the male victim to remove his trousers. They fled with the car and the pants. They took off before the victim could gas up.
Investigators say a similar robbery occurred several nights ago in which a victim was left pantless.
