Authorities responded to the scene of a large fire at a fireworks warehouse in northern Pulaski County late Tuesday afternoon.

Officials got the call of the blaze at the Arnold's Fireworks Warehouse, just outside of North Little Rock around 4:40 p.m.

Several fire departments including Maumelle, Oak Grove and North Little Rock are on the scene. Pulaski County sheriff's office spokesman Lt. Carl Minden said there are no reported injuries so far.

Authorities have blocked off a four-mile stretch of MacArthur Drive in an effort to keep the public away from the fire.

At one point, authorities had closed off a section of railroad that ran parallel with MacArthur Drive, but it has since reopened.

Minden said the building is a total loss.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze around 6:15 p.m., and the Minden said the road will be opened for traffic in one to two hours.
