Lamps prepares catwalk for dogs

After moving to Arkansas in 1998, Dr. Laura Lamps, vice chairman of the department of pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, asked her veterinarian to recommend a good local animal-welfare group to volunteer for. The veterinarian referred her to Central Arkansas Rescue Effort for Animals Inc., better known as CARE.
