Benton police arrested two men after a disturbance at a local bar and restaurant.
Officers responded to a disturbance with a weapon about 11:40 p.m. at Denton's Trotline, 2150 Congo Road, a news release states.
Witnesses told police Kenneth Morgan, 42, and Darren Sellars, 28, threatened to harm them and showed a weapon. Police said in the release that no shots were fired, but a pistol was found in Morgan's possession.
Morgan is charged with one count of aggravated assault, and Sellars is charged with public intoxication and obstruction of a governmental operation.
Police said this is the second violent incident in the past few months at Denton's. The information is being sent to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board for consideration.
