Tire-shop fire clogs Base Line in Little Rock

Little Rock fire crews work Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the 500 Millas tire shop on Base Line Road.
Base Line Road was blocked Tuesday morning as Little Rock firefighters worked the scene of a blaze.
Little Rock fire crews were called before 7 a.m. to 500 Millas tire shop at 4818 Base Line Road. Plumes of white-gray smoke could be seen coming from the structure. Multiple engines responded to the fire.
There were no reports of injuries.
A department spokesman said the cause of the fire wasn't immediately known. Crews had to cut through a garage door to access it.
Base Line remained blocked in both directions just before 8 a.m.
